Campaign Story
When we think of scholarships, we think of “free education.” But the truth is, before you even apply, there are costs that can feel like a wall you can’t climb. That’s my reality right now.
My name is Kataye Suliyat, and I’m a young Nigerian student working towards applying for international scholarships to further my education abroad. To be eligible, I must first present an IELTS English proficiency score and a valid international passport. Without them, I can’t even submit an application.
The IELTS exam fee alone is ₦266,000, my passport costs ₦100,000, and transportation brings the total to ₦370,000. I am currently under 18 and cannot open my own bank account for this campaign, so the funds will be received through my sister, who is supporting me in this journey. I’m happy to provide proof of relationship, ID verification, and updates every step of the way.
Every contribution , no matter the size brings me closer to sitting for my IELTS, getting my passport, and unlocking the opportunity to apply for fully funded scholarships. You’re not just donating; you’re investing in someone’s future.
Please help me take the first step toward making my dream of studying abroad a reality. Thank you for believing in me.
